Originally started by John Nettlefold, and now run by Sam Nettlefold this family business has grown to be a leader in the car rental in Tasmania being the only locally Tasmanian owned company that is part of a national and international chain of locations.
Budget has over 250 locations across Australia and over 11,000 locations in 180 countries worldwide.
Budget has received numerous awards including the Canstar Blue award for “Hire Cars – Most Satisfied Customers” on mulitple occansions
Budget has key partnerships with Qantas (including the frequent flyer program), Air New Zealand and R U Ok? plus numerous sporting sponsorships.
In Tasmania Budget aims to help organisations that help the most vulerable. This includes the Royal Hobart Hospital Children’s ward, Meals on Wheels and Lou’s Van. Sporting and community sponsorships are aimed at grass roots organisations across the state.
